Note:Piping sizes should be under1.5m/sec.of the liquid speed
Efficiency
If the pump always runs at a steady start point,a pump should be selected to meet the max. efficiency point and start point.In case the water usage changes,a pump should be selected tomeet themax.Qusageandusagepattern.
Min.InletPressureNPSH
If the pressure in the pump is lower than the steamingpressure,cavitationsmight occur.Toavoid cavitations,aminimunpressureat the inletsideof the pump must be guarenteed.The max.suction headcanrefer tothebelow figureandbecaulated with the following formula;
