POSTUP OPATOVNEHO SPAROVANIA

1) Zapnite a dostatocne nabite monitor aj vonkajsiu jednotku; polozte ich blizko seba.
2) Ak je to potrebné,obnovte tovarenské nastavenia monitora.Tym sa vymaze aktualna konfiguracia.
3) Na monitore otvorte Displej > Kamera > Pridat zariadenie.
4) Trikrat rychlo stlacte pärovacie tlacidlo vonkajsej jednotky.
5) Pockajte na zvukové potvrdenie uspesného sparovania a overte obraz aj zvuk.

· Jeden monitor mozno priradit jednému hlavnému uctu aplikacie.Dalsie osoby pridavajte prostrednictvom zdielanej domacnosti.
· Po obnoveni tovarenskych nastaveni sa pripojenie k aplikacii zrusi a zariadenie je nutné znova pridat.

INTRODUCTION

The DoorPhone W8 is a wireless video doorphone designed for access control and communication with visitors.The system consists of an outdoor door unit with a camera and an indoor monitor that lets you view the visitor,answer the call,and control the opening ofa door or gate.

The outdoor unit is equipped with a removable rechargeable battery.The monitor is mains-powered and includes a backup battery for operation during a short power outage or while being carried.

The outdoor unit and monitor communicate wirelessly in the 2.4 GHz frequency band,so no data cable is required between them.The 2.4 GHz band provides good range and signal penetration through common building obstacles.Actual connection quality and range may be affected by distance,wall thickness,metal structures,and interference from otherwirelessdevices.

The monitor supports Dual Wi-Fi and can be connected to your home wireless network.Once connected to the internet, the mobile app can receive notifications, show live video,and communicate with visitors even when you are away from home.After initial pairing,the outdoor unit and monitor connect automatically.

GENERAL SAFETY

·Read the entire manual before first use and keep it for future reference.
· Use the device only for the purpose described in this manual and only with compatible accessories.
· Before use, check the product,adapter, cables,and mounting components. Do not switch on a damaged device.
· Do not disassemble,modify,or repair the device.Servicing and work on fixed electrical wiringmay onlybe carried outbya qualified person.
· Do not insert foreign objects into openings. Protect the device from falls,impacts, and excessive mechanical stress.
· The monitor is intended for dry indoor environments only. Do not expose it to liquids,condensation,or high humidity.
·Protect the outdoor unit from pressurised water,immersion,and damage to its seals.Do not clean it with a water jet.
· Protect the product from fire,direct sunlight, heaters,toxic gases,and extreme temperatures.

POWER SUPPLY AND ELECTRICAL SAFETY

· Use only the supplied or manufacturer-approved adapter and cable with the correct electrical ratings.
· Keep the mains socket readily accessible so the adapter can be disconnected immediately in an emergency.
· Do not touch the adapter or connectors with wet hands.Do not unplug the adapter by pulling on the cable.
· Do not route the cable where it could be pinched,cut,overheated,or cause someone to trip.
· Do not cover the adapter or ventilation openings.Do not overload the socket, extension lead,or power supply.
· Before cleaning, connecting terminals, installation,or servicing,switch off the device and disconnect it from all power sources.
·During a thunderstorm or an extended period of non-use,disconnect the mair

· Ensure ventilation during charging, do not cover the device,and do not leave it unattended near flammable materials.

· Do not expose a device with a built-in battery to water. Do not charge or switch onawet device.
· Do not replace the battery yourself unless the manufacturer explicitly permits user replacement. Contact service support.
· Stop charging immediately if there is excessive heating, deformation, cracking, odour,smoke,orelectrolyte leakage.
· If electrolyte leaks,avoid contact with skin and eyes. Rinse the affected area with clean water and seek medical attention.
· Do not continue using a damaged or swollen battery, do not transport it loose with metal objects,and take it to a specialist collection point.
· Do not dispose of batteries or the complete device in mixed municipal waste,and never burn them.

INSTALLATION, CHILDREN,AND EMERGENCIES

· Before drilling,check that there are no electrical cables,water pipes,gas pipes, or other services in the wall.
· Secure the outdoor unit and bracket firmly. Use suitable protective equipment when working at height.
· Connect the external power supply and electric lock only as shown in the wiring diagram; observe the rated voltage and current and,for DC, the polarity.
· Keep the product, packaging films,and small mounting parts out of the reach of small children.Risk of injury or suffocation.
· If you notice smoke,an unusual smell or sound, sparking, overheating,or another fault, switch off and disconnect the device and contact service support.
· Do not clean the device with solvents, petrol, alcohol, or abrasive products. Use a soft, slightly damp cloth.
·Aim the camera only at the area necessary for access control and comply with privacy and personal data protection rules.

3) DOWNLOADING THE TUYA SMART APP

1) Search for Tuya Smart or Smart Life in the Apple App Store or Google Play, then download and install the app.
2) Create an account using an email address or phone number and complete verification.Depending on availability, you can also sign in with a supported thirdparty account.

If you cannot find the app in the store,use the appropriate QR code below.

4) PREPARING FOR INSTALLATION

Fully charge the monitor and outdoor unit before installation. During normal operation, the monitor may remain connected to the power adapter; charge the outdoorunit separately via USB-C.

Do not aim the camera directly at the sun or a strong light source.Before final installation,check the field of view, night image,motion detection,and connection stability with the monitor.

MOUNTINGTHEOUTDOORUNIT

After fitting the outdoor unit to the bracket, tighten the side security screw.The unit must sit firmly and must not move in the bracket.

CREATING A HOME

After registering and signing in,open the Me menu, select Home Management,and create a new home.Enter a name;depending on the app version,the maximum length is 25 characters.

The location may be pre-filled from your phone.Check it,edit it if necessary,and confirm with OK.Share only the location required for the requested functions.

Use a preset room name or create your own under Room Management. Once saved,the selected home and its devices will be shown on the home page.

ADDING A HOMEMEMBER

In the settings of the home you created, tap Add Member,select Tuya App Account, and enter the invited person's account.The invited user opens the message in the Message Centre and accepts the invitation.The home owner can later change or revoke the member's permissions.

The following languages can be selected in the monitor menu:

· Czech · Slovak ·English ·German · Polish · Romanian · Croatian · Slovenian · Hungarian

The default language is English.On the home screen, tap Display,open Language, and select the required option.The change is applied immediately; use the arrow at the top left to return to the previous menu.

CONNECTING THE MONITOR TO THE APP

1) Switch on the monitor; the home screen appears after start-up.
2) Open Display and go to the WLAN settings.
3) Enable WLAN and tap Add Network.
4) Select your 2.4 or 5 GHz home Wi-Fi network,enter the password,and tap
Connect.
5)After connection,check the network status and assigned IP address.
6) Open the Tuya Smart app on your phone, tap ^ + ,and select Scan.
7) On the monitor,tap the QR code icon at the top left and scan the displayed code
with the app.
8) Tap Done in the app.Name the device and assign it to a room if required.

APPHOMEPAGE

INCOMING CALL

When the doorbell button is pressed,the monitor rings and the Tuya Smart app sendsa notification to the phone.The call can be answered and the associated video saved to the microSD/TF card.An unanswered call ends after approximately 30 seconds.

LIVEVIEW

In the app,you can open the camera's live view, take a photo or video,switch to full-screen view,change image quality, start the intercom,and control an electric lock if the optional module is installed.

STORING RECORDINGS

A microSD/TF card of up to 128 GB, Class 10,can be inserted into the monitor.It stores recordings of calls,motion detection events,and manually started recordings. Recordings can be played back on the monitor or in the app.Check the card status under Display > SD Card.

DEVICE SHARING

Add other users through Home Management.Share the device onlywith trusted peopleand regularly review their permissions.

ADDITIONAL SETTINGS

Under Camera > Settings > Tone Settings, you can adjust the outdoor unit's sound behaviour when motion is detected.
Under Camera > Settings > Power Management, you can set the behaviour of the illuminated ring around the doorbell button.
If illumination on motion detection is enabled,the ring lights up when an event is detected.If disabled,it lights up only when the doorbell button is pressed.

For one-way voice alerts,two WAV audio files can be used,depending on the device menu.

When the outdoor unit's PIR sensor detects motion,the device can send a notification to the Tuya Smart app
and save a video.Recordings can be viewed in the Playback menu on the monitor; PIR sensitivity is set in the app.

1) Open the live view page.
2) Open the PiR settingsand select the detection sensitivity.
3) Check the saved sensitivity level.

On the monitor,open the Camera menu and tap Play to display the live view. Use the Answer button to activate the microphone and start a two-way conversation with the visitor.

When the doorbell button is pressed,the monitor rings and displays the live view.
Answer the cal; once the microphone is active,you can speak to the visitor.

The outdoor unit's external power supply must meet the following requirements: AC 8-24 V/ max.2 A or DC 8-36 V/ max.2 A. Observe polarity when using DC power (connect the positive terminal to the red wire).

The optional unlocking module communicates with the main unit in the 433 MHz band.This frequency is not used for communication between the outdoor unit and monitor.

SAFEOPERATION AND MAINTENANCE

· Do not place the monitor near strong magnetic fields.
· Do not spray the monitor with water or another liquid; do not clean the outdoor unit with pressurised water.
· Do not subject the display or outdoor unit to impacts, falls,or excessive pressure.
· Protect the device from prolonged direct sunlight and strong reflected light.
· Do not install the monitor in an environment containing ammonia,corrosive, or toxic gases.
· Do not disassemble the device.There are no user-serviceable parts inside.
· Disconnect the device before cleaning. Use a soft, slightly damp cloth without chemical solvents.
· Place the monitor on a stable surface and out of the reach of small children; the recommended installation height is more than 1 \mathsf { m } ：
· Do not attempt to repair a faulty device yourself. Contact authorised service support:servis@evolveo.com.

TIP: For the best range,raise the monitor antenna and position it so that there are asfew metal obstacles as possible between the units.

11) TROUBLESHOOTING

1)NO PHONE NOTIFICATION AFTER THE DOORBELL RINGS

· Check that the monitor is paired with the outdoor unit, connected to Wi-Fi,and added to the app.
· In the phone settings,allow the app to send notifications and play sounds and to run in the background.
· In the app,check that CALLand PIR notifications are enabled.

2) NO INTERCOM AUDIO ON THE PHONE

· Allow the app to access the microphone and check the phone's volume and silent mode. · Check that the outdoor unit's microphone and speaker are not covered.

) THEAPP SHOWS EVOLVEODOORPHONEW8 AS OFFLINE

· Check the WLAN connection on the monitor.If necessary,restart the monitor and your home router and re-enter the Wi-Fi password.

4) THE MONITOR DOES NOT RESPOND OR RING AFTER THE DOORBELL IS PRESSED

·UnderDisplay > Camera,check that the outdoorunit is paired.
· Under Display > Ring,check that ringing is enabled and the volume is high enough.
· Reduce the distance between the units and remove large metal obstacles or sources of interference.
·Under Camera > Tone Settings,check that the call sound is not disabled.
· Check that the monitor is not muted.

5)NO AUDIO FROMTHEMONITORDURINGCOMMUNICATION

· Check that the monitor's microphone and speaker are not covered.
· Check that the outdoor unit's microphone and speaker are not covered.
· Check the intercom volume setting.

6)RE-PAIRINGTHEMONITOR WITHTHEOUTDOOR UNIT

The monitor and outdoor unit are paired at the factory.

Use the following procedure only if the units have lost their connection or after restoring settings.

RE-PAIRING PROCEDURE

1) Switch on and sufficiently charge both the monitor and outdoor unit; place them close together.
2) If necessary,restore the monitor to factory settings.This erases the current configuration.
3) On the monitor,open Display > Camera > Add Device.
4) Quickly press the outdoor unit's pairing button three times.
5) Wait for the audible confirmation of successful pairing and check both image and sound.

IMPORTANT

· One monitor can be assigned to one primary app account.Add other people
through the shared home.
· After restoring factory settings, the app connection is removed and the device must be added again.
