Installation Note
Aninitialcharge of oil should beadded to theoil separatorbefore installit.The initialchargerefers to general characteristics of oil separators or to instruction sheet for the proper amount of oil. Oilpre-chargeis very important;failure topre-charge separatorsumpmay resultindamage to the oil return float mechanism.
Inorder to prevent the refrigerant return from condenser,during the off cycleof the system,recommend to installacheckvalve between the condenserandoilseparatoroutletconnection.
Oil separator performs bestwhen operatingat or near the compressor discharge temperature.When installing the oil separator,to choosea position to avoid,as faras possible,chilling of the shell,which may lead tocondensing of liquidwithin the separator. If it'snot possible,it isadvisable to supplytheseparatorwith some better solutions to prevent the refrigerantin the system fromcondensing in the shell,suchas insulation,strap heater,orothers.
在安装油分离器前,必须对它进行初始充油。
注意:油的预充非常重要,如果没有对油分离器储油槽进行预充油,可能会导致回油浮动装置的损坏。预充通的油必须使用与压
缩机曲轴箱内同品牌、同类型的优质润滑油。
预充油量:PKW-55833\~PKW-559011和PKW-5301\~PKW-5306:0.6LPKW-569011\~PKW-569417和PKW-6303\~PKW-6305:0.8L
油分离器安装在压缩机和冷凝器之间的排气管路上,必须垂直安装并合理地靠近压缩机,油分离器在压缩机接近排气温度时工作的效能最好。为防止制冷剂在停止运转周期内从冷凝器回流,建议在油分离器出口接头处与冷凝器之间安装一个单向止回阀;在选择油分离器安装位置时,尽可能避免油分离器外壳冷却,这可能会导致油分离器内制冷剂冷凝;如果无法避免,建议做保温措施来避免系统内的制冷剂冷凝(比如保温,加热带或其他措施)。

OnePKG-08orPKG-120Amodelcanbefitted intheoil return linebetweentheOilSeparator and Oil Receiver,instead of fitting one Oil Strainer per OilLevel Regulator.These modelswill also removemoredebristhan traditional oil strainers.

Application
The oil separators designed for installation on commercial refrigerating systems and on civil and industrial conditioning plants can protect systems. When the compressor is running,the outletof compressoralways haslotsof refrigerantoil.Iftoo much oilmoves to thesystem,itwillaffect the flow control componentsand the performance of evaporator and condenser.
The oil separator installed on the discharge line ofthecompressor intercepts the oilmixedwith compressed gas and returns itto theoilreceiver ordirectly to the compressor crankcase thus assuring an efficient lubrication of its moving parts. Furthermore,the oil separator maintains a high coefficientofcondenserandevaporatorperformance byalmostcompletelyremovingoildeposits from theirexchange surfaces.Moreover,theoil separator, damping thevalves pulsations,reducessystemnoise withan open or semi-hermetic compressor.
The use of an oil separator leads to: -Alonger service life of the compressor. -Abetterperformance of the whole system with consequentenergy saving. -Amuchquieter operationby reducing pulsations.

Construction
HPEOK manufactures two types of oil separators:Closedtype and Demountable type. -Separatorsseries 55/53are closed typeand theycannotbedismantledfromthe system,except cutting the piping.
-Separators series 56/63are demountable type.
The internal device is simple in order to assure a trouble-free long operation.Appropriate metallic screens,placed onthe inletand outlet,rapidly reduce gas speed,and create the conditions required fortheseparationof the oilfrom therefrigerant.Afloat operated needle valve,set on the bottom of the vessel,returns the oil to the crankcase of compressor.

Installation-Note
The oil separators should be installed in the discharge line between the compressorand condenser,and mounted inavertical position securely andclose to the compressorreasonably.
Inordertopreventtherefrigerantreturn fromcondenser,duringtheoff cycle of the system,recommend to installacheck valve between the condenserand oil separatoroutletconnection.Oil separatorperforms bestwhen operating at or near the compressor discharge temperature.
When installing the oil separator,choosea position to avoid,as faras possible,chillingof theshell,whichmaylead to condensing of liquid within the separator.
If it is not possible,it's advisable to supply the separator with some bettersolutions to prevent the refrigerantinthe systemfromcondensinginthe shell,suchasinsulation,strapheater,orothers.
Aninitialchargeofoilshouldbeadded totheoilseparatorbeforeinstalit.Theinitialcharge refers togeneralcharacteristicsofoilseparatorsortoinstructionsheetfortheproperamountofoil.
Oil pre-chargeis very important;failure to pre-charge separator sumpmay resultin damage to the oilreturnfloatmechanism.

制冷系统流程图
1、在安装油分离器前,必须对它进行初始充油,初始充油量请参照技术规格表。
注意:油的预充非常重要,如果没有对油分离器储油槽进行预充油,可能会导致回油浮动装置的损坏。预充的油必须使用与压缩机曲轴箱内同品牌、同类型的优质润滑油。
2、螺旋式油分离器安装在压缩机和冷凝器之间的排气管路上,必须垂直安装并合理地靠近压缩机。为防止制冷剂在停止运转周期内从冷凝器回流,我们建议在冷凝器和油分离器出口接头处安装一个单向止回阀。
3、螺旋式油分离器在压缩机接近排气温度时工作的效能最好。
4、在选择油分离器安装位置时,尽可能避免油分离器外壳冷却,这可能会导致油分离器内制冷剂冷凝;如果无法避免,建议做保温措施来避免系统内的制冷剂冷凝(比如保温,加热带或其他措施)。

The separators should be installed in the discharge line between the compressor and condenser mountedin a vertical position and reasonably close to compressor. Choosea position toavoid,asfaras possible,chilling of the shell,which may result inliquid condensingwithin oil separator.If it's not possible,betterto use insulation, strap heater or others to prevent the refrigerant from condensing in the shell.

Howitworks
The regulator uses photoelectric sensor technique to detect oillevel,thesensordetectstheoillevel,andtransfersthe optical signal to electrical signal and sendsitto solenoidcoil to open or close the solenoid valve,when solenoid valve open, the oil get into the compressor.
The sight glassisdivided to two oil level zones,green (oil level at 7 0 % ~ 5 0 % andyellow(oillevelat 5 0 % ~ 0 % asbelowtable When the oil level at theyellow zone,thephotoelectric sensor detects the signal and sent it to solenoid valve,the solenoid valve will open till the oil level get to the green zone.
Thegreen ledin topof the sensorcanindicatetheoillevelstatus.Whenlightoff,theoillevelis normal state,when thelighton,theoillevelis lower than the set dataand system is sending the oil to the compressor.

Installation-Note

5.Keep clean of the sight glass housing,housing tighten torque 35N.m.
6.Verticallyinsert the sensor into glass housing with 10N.m tighten torque,the wire outlet should downward.
7.Ensure the bodyis ina horizontal position when installto the compressor.
8.The sensor starts5 seconds afterconnecting the supply voltage.
9.The sensor disconnected after 5seconds in case of low oil level orsensor fault happens,and connected after 5 seconds when oillevel normal and fault gone.This delay prevents high switching rateat not clearconditionse.g.formationof foam,bubbles in liquid.

Applications
HPEOK Oil receivers are used in "Low and High pressure oil control systems".Due to system design,loading and defrosting cycle,the changing oil mass can be send back by oil separator,thus,a safetyoilreserveisrequiredfortheoperationof oil control system.In theoil receiver,anyrefrigerant trapped within the oil is boiled-off and the oil is cooledandkeptavailable.HPEOKoilreceivers arenormallyequippedwith sight glasseswith floatball level indicators,forupperand lower level indication,and with two shut off valves, the top valve receivesvalve form oil separator,a nd the bottom valve sends oil to the oil regulator.
储油器用于储存不留在压缩机曲轴箱内,又不在油分离器中,也不在系统中进行循环的润滑油。在储油器里,所有溶于润滑油中的制冷剂都会被蒸发,而油则冷却下来保持在可用状态。
推荐在供油系统中安装PKG系列油过滤器,否则油中的脏物会导致油位控制器失灵。
HPEOKoil receivers are supplied with:
-Two/Three sight glasses with level indicator balls inside
-check the oil level in the receiver.
-Two rotalock valves to easy connect oil fill and oil drain.
These valves are not mounted on the receiver;they are in the package with the proper gaskets.
-A3/8"SAE Flare connection on top of the receiver can allow toassemble apressure differential checkvalve. Note:The Pressure differential check valve is not supplied with receiver;if it'snecessary to use a positive differentialpressure between thereceiverand the compressorcrankcase,werecommend HPEOKPressuredifferential check valve:

During the firsttwo working days of therefrigerating system,oilshould beaddedtomaintaina level between the two sight glasses.This procedure may require severaloilcharges because the oil is adsorbedintherefrigerant.When therefrigerating systemis balanced,theoillevelinthereceiver must be controlled during each maintenance inspectionand the oil should beadded again if the level decreases the lowersight glass.
When adding orreplacing an oil receiver toan existing system,the oil should be filld to the top of the lower sight glass only.Because the system is placed into operation,the oillevelis needed to be observed during the firsttwo days.
Addadequate oiltothereceiverif the leveldecreases belowthe lower sight glass;Drainadequate oil fromthe receiver if the level risesabove the upper sight glass.

在制冷循环系统中,进入膨胀阀前的制冷剂必须是干净和干燥的,否则杂质会堵塞膨胀阀,有水份的话会引起冰堵。为避免以上两种现象,就必须在制冷剂进入膨胀阀前安装一只干燥过滤器去过滤铁屑等杂质,吸收水分。

Applications
The function of a Suction Line Filter Drier is to captureand retain system contaminants,moisture and harmful acids in orderto protect system components.
The by-pass valve starts to work when refrigerant isflowing in the direction of the arrow on the filter drierlabel.If excessive pressure drop produced whenrefrigerantflowthroughthefilterdrier,the by-passvalvewillopenslightlytokeepenough airflowandmake the hermeticcompressormotor getpropercooling.Theby-passvalvewillbe ineffectiveifthesuction linefilterdrierisinstalled toreverse flow,thusanaccessvalve is required to measure the pressure drop from core to compressor'ssuctionvalve.

PKEFBurn-outfilterdrier protects thenew compressorbyadsorbing harmfulacidsafter a compressormotor damage.

HPEOKsuction line filter-driers incorporate offera high levelofprotection forrefrigeration and airconditioning systems.Theyare specificallydesigned to captureand retain moistureand solid particles fromcirculating throughout the system,which cancreateacid thatcauses damagetothe compressor andothercomponentspipedwithin thecircuit.Compressormanufacturersrecommendtheinstallation of suction line filter-driers to protect theirequipment from contaminants leftin the system after a burnout.These suction line filter-driers include protection from moisture and organic orinorganic acids,resulting from burnouts,or chemical changesin the systemrefrigerant oroil.Theyare specially suited for system clean-upaftera burnout,orwhen major work has been performed on the system.
SafetyandInstallationInstructions
1.Before installthe filterdrier,read the instructions thoroughly. Failure to followinstructions may lead to drier failure,system damage,orpersonalinjury.
2.Ensure to pump down the system and depressurize line before attempting to install. Failure to do so may result in personal injury.
3.Note:Take care about handling contaminated refrigerant extremely to prevent personalinjury. Failure to do so can result in personal injury.
4.Do not remove the seal caps before attempting to install. If SAE connections,unscrew the plastic caps;if ODF connections,pull out with long nose pliers.
5.Note:Do not installaccess valve cores until complete all brazing.Installation prior to brazing may causedamagetovalvecore.
6.Thefilterdriercan be installedinanyposition.Forbestperformance,locate thefilterdrieras close aspossible to thecompressor inlet,install upstreamof vibrationabsorbersis suggested. When the piping arrangement results in excessive stress on refrigerant line,it's better to support the filter drierbya suitable bracket.
7.Warning: Installthe filter drier with arrow pointing in direction of flow (toward compressor). Reverse flow may result in internal damage.
8.Clean and deburr piping ends can provide a good brazing surface.
9.Use an inert gas,forexample nitrogen,topass thru the lines while brazing to preventformation of copperoxides.
10.If using high temperature brazingalloys,directing the flame away from the filterdrier shell. Use chillblocks,wet rags,or other proper heat protection for the filter drier.
11.After the filter drier shell has cooled,install valve cores and replace seal caps.
Do not charge system until valve cores are installed.
12.Use a back-up wrench on the flats on SAE connections to prevent twisting the refrigerant line.
13.Make leak test thoroughly after installation.Failure todo so could resultin refrigerant loss.
14.The suction line filter driers should not be used forliquid line or hot gas applications.

1.在安装前完整阅读说明书。不按说明书指示可能会导致过滤器故障,系统损坏或人身伤害。
2.在安装前系统必须减压或抽真空,否则可能导致人身伤害。
3.注意:小心处理受污染的制冷剂,以防止人身伤害。
4.不安装不要拆掉密封盖,准备安装才拆开。
5.清洁端口并去毛刺,保持良好的焊接条件。在所有焊接工作完成前,不要安装气门芯。焊接前安装可能会破坏气门阀芯密封。
6.过滤器安装位置不受限制。为获得最佳效果,将干燥过滤器尽可能安装到压缩机进口,上游建议安装一个避震管。当制冷剂管路上的压力过大时,建议在过滤器上安装一个支撑架。
7.警告:安装干燥过滤器时必须使流体方向与过滤器标签上的箭头方向一致(向压缩机)。
8.使用惰性气体,如氮气,在铜焊时通过管路,以防止形成氧化铜。
9.高温可能会采用钎焊合金,需做常规预防措施,引导火焰远离过滤器外壳。使用冷块,湿布,或其他对过滤器合适的防热措施。
10.当壳体冷却后,用工具安装气门芯替换密封盖。在安装气门芯之前不要对系统充注制冷剂。
11.警告:安装后全系统进行测漏,否则可能会导致制冷剂的损失。
