Product description
TheSealedVehicleRocker (SVR) switchfromEaton'selectricalbusiness nowoffersanabovepanelactuator styleinadditiontothebelowpaneland paddle actuators.
Designed tomeet thesevere environmental requirements of the construction and agriculturalvehicle markets,theSVRissealed atthefront and back of the switch and meets the rigorous sealing requirements of IP68.
The small switchfootprint minimizes the space taken on switchpanels.SVR switches are assembled intopanels by pressing the switch through the top of the panel and are held in place by retention tabs molded into the body of the switch;mountinghardware or special tools are not necessary.
The SVR is offered in single and
two-pole switch circuits,
with two- and three-position momentary andmaintainedcircuits available.
Switch and illumination circuits are
terminated with 0.11 in (2.8~\mathsf{mm})
tin-plated copperalloyspadeterminals. The SVR connector can be loaded with theappropriateterminalsand/orwire seals toaccomplishsealingattheback end of the switch.

TheSVRswitchfamilyincludesthree styles of actuators: above panel, below panel and paddle.
Switchperformanceandspecifications arethesameforallactuatorstyles. Blackisstandard，butothercolorsare alsoavailable.Mattefinishisstandard onallactuatorstyles,matchingthefinish on thebezels and all othervisible SVR switchfeaturesandaccessories.

Illumination
Long life LEDs provide backlighting illuminationfortheSVRswitch. Backlightingcanbeeitherindependent ofor dependent on the switch circuits, or a combination of both. StandardLED color is amber,withred, green and blue also available. LED protection circuitryis available toprotect theLEDfrom overvoltage andreversevoltage conditions.

Sealing
SVRdesignincludesa sealed contact chamberwithdustandwaterresistance to IP68.The harness connection can alsobesealedbyusingAMPwire seals Catalog Number 828905-1(14-16 gauge) or 828904-1 (18-20 gauge)to seal thewires to theconnector.Foran application where a connector cavity is notbeing used,it canbesealed with AMP sealing plug Catalog Number 828922-1.
The abovepanelversionmay alsobe sealed to the panel using panel seal CatalogNumber32-2245.
