This magnificent imperial treasure casket,meticulously crafted using the git-lacquer“li fen”technique, was designed for housing imperial jade sealsand ceremonial investiture bookswithin the Qing court Thetechnique,reserved exclusivelyfor imperial use,is exemplified in thesix monumental gilt-lacquered dragon columns encircling the throne in the Hall of Supreme Harmony (Taihe Dian) in the Forbidden City,signifying supremeauthority.The rectangular casket featuresasloped topand stepped edges,its entiresurfaceadorned withexquisitely executed raised gilt lacquer (li fen jinqi) decorations.Thelidand bevelededgesare embelished withauspiciousruyi-shaped cloud motifs,while the front is dominated byan opulent depiction of afive-clawed dragon and a phoenix soaring above crashing waves and rocky cliffs,their dynamic forms surrounding a flaming pearl amidst swirling clouds.The sides of the casket bear further dragon and phoenix motifs,while the back is decorated with a powerful five-clawed dragon amid tumultuous waves and floating clouds,symbolizing imperial supremacy.The precision of the casket's fitings and hardware further underscores its imperial status.The edges of the lidand casket are secured with square corner mounts,while the sides feature finely chased gilt-bronze handles intricately decorated with phoenix motifs.The lower section is pierced with apertures,facilitating the threadingof ceremonial cords.An exceptionally well-preserved example,this casket exhibitsa sumptuous gold finish and masterful craftsmanship,making itan exceedingly rare and important survivorof imperial Qing lacquerware.

寶册箱為清代宮廷盛放寶璽、玉册的承具，皆以瀝粉漆金技法製作。此工兿為清代帝王專用裝飾技法，今北京故宮太和殿圍繞御座的六根蟠龍柱，即採用瀝粉金漆法製作裝飾，為皇權的最佳體現。寶冊箱呈長方體，盡頂，通體施瀝粉金漆工兿，做工細腻，紋飾高貴。箱蓋頂部及四周坡斜飾如意雲紋，箱體正面飾龍鳳戲珠圖案，海水江崖之上龍騰鳳舞，正中火珠飄動，流雲點綴其間。箱兩側刻龍鳳紋，背面飾海水雲龍纹，龍為五爪，威武雄壯。蓋、箱合口處安装委角方形面葉及拍子，兩側面依銅質提環，其上刻鳳纹，精細纈密。箱下部兩側穿孔，以便於穿繩。全器紋飾華麗，金彩奪目，保存完好，極為難得。
