“Arrangements is a modular system of geometric light elements that can be combined in different ways, creating multiple compositions into individual chandeliers. Each unit simply attaches onto the previous one as if resting, balancing perfectly as part of a glowing chain." - Michael Anastassiades
NOCTAMBULE
The new collection of lamps is made of blown glass modules, which are see-through and therefore almost inexistent at day-time. But, when you switch them on in the dark, they transform into georgeous, illuminated lamps. The cylindrical glass modules set the basic grammar of the collection.
The single module is a lantern. Several modules stacked on top of each other create a light column, or suspended chandelier inside a stair well. Extra elements such a glass dome or cone shaped head allow for added performance such as a floorstanding uplighter and pendant.
Volevo tradurre tutto ciò in architettura d'interni" - M. Anastassiades
"When I sit on a train travelling, I always see these strings of
electricity out of the window. It's so beautiful and poetic the way they connect the pylons but at the same time they
divide the landscape. I wanted to translate this into interior
architecture."

“In my previous home there was a fantastic antique plaster ceiling. I called it my garden on the roof [...] I liked it so much that when I moved I couldn't live without it and had to find a way to transfer it to my new home." M. Wanders

“With Aim we devised a new type of lamp that stands in space in a natural way, like a plant, thanks to the long suspension wires that make it easy to direct the light and adjust its height.” - R. & E. Bouroullec

«I cannot help mocking our unwavering certainties. It is, for example, great fun deliberately to confuse two and three dimensions, the plane and space, or to poke fun at gravity. Are you sure that a floor cannot also be a ceiling? Are you absolutely certain that you go up when you walk
up a staircase?»

WALL & CEILING LAMPS
NEW
MAAP, NOCTURNE WALL
Erwan Bouroullec
"Maap is a lamp that unites fundamental concepts, yet its reality is both radically simple and inherently complex. Despite its bold presence, it remains extremely lightweight. Maap is built around an ultralight Tyvek envelope—paper-like in appearance, but tear-resistant in nature.
In creating this lamp, I drew from two enduring obsessions: geometry and natural structures. Maap embodies precise geometry, which is then confronted with chaos during its installation on the wall. The Tyvek envelope must be crumpled to form a microstructure that brings it to life and provides stability."

L'involucro viene assicurato

Oltre all'aspetto
The cover is attached to the metal frame, or ‘skeleton', using large magnetic buttons (Dots), aligned with four magnetic points at each light source. Beyond their functional role, these buttons become a further expressive detail, as the designer explains: “With a kind of magic, these Dots subtly fix the casing in place and allow for endless reshaping.
Maap is a visually impactful lamp. Like a large cloud, it diffuses light across a broad surface: the source seems to emanate not from a single point but from the entire illuminated area. It fills the space with a soft, ambient glow like a window, a glass wall, or sunlight itself, creating a sensation that is both enveloping and atmospheric, spreading gently and evenly throughout the space.

Black Flag is an extendable wall light that offers flexibility of illumination thanks to the expanding aluminium arm reaching up to 3.5meters from a wall-mounted frame of the same material. Wall lamp and sculptural centrepiece, Black Flag embodies Grcic's industrial design expertise and demonstrates the experimental opportunities of his approach mixed with Flos' technical expertise.
SKYNEST CEILING
Since launching Bellhop Table in 2017, the design by Barber & Osgerby has evolved into a family of objects that branch out into different areas and lighting functions. From a compact rechargeable lamp, Bellhop has become a floor-standing uplighter and an outdoor light. Now in its latest iteration, Bellhop is integrated into the architecture, colourfully perching on the wall and pushing light upwards thanks to Flos' new, high performance
optic technology. The new design maintains the lamp's distinctive shape, with the cap twisted upside down and declined in a series of rich hues that well complement its bold design.
