powered by replaceable lithium-ion batteries.
Thus, the life of the product is not linked to
the life of the batteries. When the batteries
reach the end of their life cycle, they can
be replaced with new ones. The product
continues to function as it did on the first day.
Moreover, when the product comes to an
end, its circular design concept allows
all parts to be easily disassembled and
separated for recycling. All without the need
for tools: it is manufactured without glues,
screws or welding.

Emi, designed by Erwan Bouroullec, combines
different light sources with a high level of visual
comfort to create a unique experience of light
and shadow. The design of this collection comes
from grouping together three light modules inside
compact, linear extrusions that give the lamp a
triangular shape which is reflected all throughout
its design.
